I can't help myself. When the carts at the grocery store are stacked with beautiful, plump strawberries...on sale...I can't wait to make jam. And, that is just what I did today. But, if one has sticky, sweet jam...one needs a loaf ( or two) of homemade bread. I tried a new recipe for buttermilk bread. It's pretty delicious. If I do say so myself.
