Ahhh...The Magic of Disney

mr. c: "let's go to disneyland during fall break."
me: "oh, that would be so much fun! i'm sure it won't be that crowded and it will
be all festive and halloweeny (yes, that's a word)."
HA!
it was a great idea. to us and everybody else with a vowel in their last name!
i couldn't believe the crowds...a sea of people...everywhere.
but,
it was all festive and halloweeny. the haunted mansion had a "nightmare before christmas" theme going. {randi likes it better the original way.} this sweet girl had so much fun. plus, she played as the tour guide (since she has been a handful of times). and, she was so patient with her little brother. cade and mr. c on the haunted mansion. cade wasn't too crazy about some of the rides...like "splash mountain" and the "matterhorn".
this little guy had fun. but...he is a funny one. he is my "safety sadie" and he gets a little tense when he is out of his element. it takes him a good while to warm up...it's not exactly what we were expecting from our five year old's first trip to disneyland.
{mr. c thinks he would have had just as much fun with a trip to toys r us and a weekend at home.}
randi in mickey's garden.
twelve...long...hours...later.
we were pooped. but, we had to see the fireworks.
{which were cool and halloweeny too!}
all in all it was a fun weekend. our flights were quick and easy. the hotel was nice and had free shuttle service to disneyland. the kids were good. and although it was unseasonably warm (hot) and extremely crowded, disneyland was still fun, magical...
and created lots of smiles and memories.
