Into The Wild

last weekend we visited some wild and crazy animals

at the world wildlife zoo. we had never been before. yet, we were pleasantly surprised.

these two goofy flamingos loved it.

lots and lots of beautiful birds.

and this little moment created a HUGE desire

to have a pet turtle.

{which isn't going to happen.}

this poor little boy needs a pet.

really bad. he loves all the animals.

and is genuinely fascinated.

this one, however, takes after her mimi.

petting this little goat was a stretch.

{she wanted to leave the area within a matter of minutes...

she didn't care for the smell.}

the park had some fun amenities.

like this sky lift.

a boat ride.

and a train ride.

and, yes, we did all three.

i even wore my overalls for the occasion.

it was a great day.

gorgeous weather.

fun kids.

yummy slushies.

and a wonderful hubby/dad who treated us to the day.
