Opening Day

opening day of baseball.

there are two things that must be done...

1.) one must play hooky from all responsibilities to attend the game.

2.) one must gobble up a ballpark dog.

and we were lucky enough to do both.

i'm pretty sure cade was a little happy.

and i'm very sure there is no one else he would

rather spend the day with than his papa.

hopefully, we are a close second. joe nichols sang the anthem and the star spangled banner. the air force did a fly over after the anthem. {which cade thought was pretty cool.} and kurt warner threw out the first pitch. and, his favorite player {stephen drew} made an "in the park" home run. he didn't have fun at all! :) randi attended the game too. she was with her dad, family, and friends. and... she got the autograph of my favorite {former} player... louis "gonzo" gonzalez. it was an awesome day! {thanks mimi.}
