although her birthday was a few weeks ago...we celebrated again last night.
{we tend to keep the partying going for as long as possible in this family.}
she wanted a 50's theme.and she only wanted to invite 3 girlfriends.
easy enough.
after they arrived at our house -
i loaded them up and took them to
they each received "smeeks bucks"to shop and buy what they pleased.
there were so many choices!!!
they all walked away with a bag of goodies.
next, we went to macalpines.
an old soda fountain in phoenix.
after studying the menus...
they decided on some delicious malts.

dinner!
after filling our bellies
we needed one more picture with
the staff.
we finished at our house for presents, cake,
and a sleep over.
i believe the girls stayed up rather late.
{i was told 3 AM.}
they watched movies, ate popcorn, and played games.
{i taught them the "a what" game.}
so, although they were very sleepy today...
i think they had a fun time.
