It was a beautiful, sunshiny day. I was fortunate enough to spend St. Patrick's Day with my two little leprechauns, my sweet brother and his little leprechaun...
at a spring training game.
First things first. Cade and I picked Randi up early (yes, another hooky day) and we headed to the park for a little picnic...before getting Troy and Emerson.
The five of us headed to "Muni" stadium to watch the A's take on our AZ D-Backs. The crowd was big and festive (with all of their green clothing, beads, even a green beard). There was happiness all around us. (Troy and I were a little envious of all the tailgaters...

The "fever pitch" carried over into the evening. As soon as we got home Cade was anxious to hit some homers. We ran the bases 'till night fall...
